The short version: your stories stay yours
Privacy
WisdomCapture exists to keep your family’s stories safe. We hold something precious — a parent’s voice, a grandparent’s memory — so we treat your data the way we’d want our own family’s treated: private, never for sale, and yours to take back at any time.
What we collect
The stories your family writes, records, or films — text, photos, audio, and video — along with the account details needed to run the service: your name, email address, and the family circle you belong to. We collect what we need to deliver prompts and keep your timeline in order, and nothing more.
Where it lives, and who can see it
Your stories and media are stored on Supabase, our database and storage provider. Access is enforced at the database level with Row-Level Security: a story is visible only to its author and to the family circle they were invited into. It is never public, never shared with other families, and never indexed for search.
What we never do
We never sell your data. We never share it with advertisers. We never use your family’s stories, photos, or recordings to train AI models — ours or anyone else’s. This is a keepsake, not a feed, and not a dataset.
How long we keep it
We keep your stories for as long as you want them kept — that’s the whole point. We hold your data until you delete it or close your account, at which point it is removed from our systems.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you at any time. Email [CONTACT_EMAIL] and we’ll take care of it.
