Before the stories fade
Your parents’ stories are still here. Your kids deserve to hear them.
You don’t have to play interviewer. We send your mum or dad a gentle question; they just talk. The story lands in your family’s private timeline, kept for good.

Why it’s not awkward
Most of us never ask, because sitting a parent down with a list of questions feels like an interview — and the moment never comes. So we do the asking for you. A warm prompt arrives on its own, your parent answers in their own words and their own time, and you get to simply be their child reading the story afterwards.
How it works
- 1
Invite your parents
One link. They join your private family circle in a tap, even if they’re not techy.
- 2
A gentle prompt arrives
We do the asking, so it never feels like an interview. They answer by voice, video, or text.
- 3
It’s kept for your family
The story lands in a private timeline only your family can see. Yours to keep, always.
A story from the timeline
“The day I arrived with one suitcase”
“I was twenty-two and I’d never been further than the next town. The boat was three days. I remember a stranger sharing his bread with me, and thinking — if people are this kind, I’ll be alright. I kept that suitcase for forty years. Your grandmother used to say it still smelled of the sea.”
Private, and kept for good
Your family’s stories are visible only to the circle you invite. This is a keepsake, not a feed. Later, you can subscribe and choose to create other experiences from the stories, extracting nuggets of wisdom, building story books, creating videos of memories.
“I built WisdomCapture so that my son would hear my dad’s and mom’s stories and we could keep them in the family. That’s the whole product.”

Common questions
- What if my parent isn’t techy?
- They tap one link and answer however they like — talking into their phone, recording a short video, or typing. There’s nothing to set up.
- Who can see the stories?
- Only the family circle you invite. Stories are private by default and never made public.
- Is it really free to start?
- Yes. You can invite a parent and start capturing stories without a credit card. Capturing your family’s stories is never paywalled.
- Do I have to interview them?
- No. We send the prompts, so you can just be their child reading the story afterwards.
- How long do the stories stay?
- Yours to keep, always. Stories are never deleted or removed.
- How do you make money?
- We plan to offer a subscription for extra features like transcription, but the core experience of inviting a parent and capturing their stories is free to start and always will be.
